

Evander Izan Tramel, a cherished soul who brightened the world with his brief presence, passed away at home in San Antonio, TX, on May 21, 2024. Born to Josie Grace Munholland Tramel on March 9, 2024, his time on earth, though brief, was a testament to the joy and love a child brings into the lives of all those around them.
Evander was the light of his mother's, his Granny's, his Nana's, and his multitude of Aunt's/Uncle's life, who nurtured him with boundless love and devotion. He was the treasured grandson of Marissa "Granny" and John "Paw Paw" Bourne of Lawton, OK, and Joseph "Joey" and Holley "Honey" Munholland of Bonham, TX. His presence was a beacon of light for his loving Great Aunt Bella “Auntie Bella” Tramel, his uncles and aunts: John Lee "Uncle John 2.0" Bourne, Peter Christ, Masey Munholland, Tenley Munholland, and Jessica "Auntie Jessa" Bourne. He will forever remain the cherished great-grandson to CC "Nana" Tramel and Billy "Gramps" Tramel who cherished every moment they spent with their precious great-grandson. Evander's joy was also shared with his great-grandmother, Bonita "BonBon" Munholland of Wichita Falls, TX.
Evander pulled at the very heart of his large loving family and the matriarch of the family his sixth-generation great-great-great-grandmother, Wanda “Nanny” Beach of Stonewall, LA and his great-great-grandmother Cora Christmas of McAlester, OK. His legacy of family love continued with his great uncles and aunts: Jake and Anne Munholland of Wichita Falls, Jeffery Munholland of Frisco, TX, Jared Tramel and Chase Tramel of Everett, WA; Jonathan and Cierra Munholland Amanda and Kris Josefy and Misty Reading all of Wichita Falls, TX and of Bella Tramel of San Antonio. His lineage was further enriched by his great-great uncles and aunts: Kathy and John Sheppard of Walters, OK; Larry and Lesa Bingham of Quinton, OK; Kenny and Sharon Bingham of Elk City, OK, Kenny Tramel of Fort Worth, TX; and Tonya and Joe Baughman, as well as his great-great aunt Crystal Tramel of Conroe, TX.
As Evander Izan Tramel's family says their goodbyes, they take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace and resting with the angels in heaven and being passed around by all of those loved ones who await him. In his passing, Evander returns to the embrace of his great-grandfathers, Lee Swib and Jerry Munholland, as well as his great-great-grandparents, Gracie "GG" and HL "Granddad" Bingham and Billy "Gramps" and Dee "Grammy" Tramel, and his great-great uncle Tommy Bingham, who preceded him in death.Evander's life was a brief gift to us all, and he will be profoundly missed. His spirit will continue to be a guiding light in their lives, a reminder of the love that brought them together and the love that will continue to hold them together in his absence. May his soul rest in eternal peace and may we all find solace in the legacy of love he leaves behind.
Evander Izan Tramel's life was only two short months, in that time he served as a brilliant spark in the world of all those that knew and loved him. His spark burned brightly with the intensity of the love that cradled him on a daily basis. He will be deeply missed, but his family will take comfort in the knowledge that his spirit will forever be a guide, and their eternal star to guide them across the sea of life. May his memory be a blessing to all who had the privilege of witnessing his cherished days among us.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Porter Loring Mortuary West.
