Evangelina " Chachi" Ruiz, born on March 22, 1957 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with the Lord on July 14, 2018 at the age of 61. She is survived by her parents, Ramon and Estefana Ruiz; siblings, Maria Elida Rodriguez (Luis), Albert Ruiz, Gloria Ruiz-Gonzalez (Daniel) and Stephanie Ramirez (Carlos); nephews and nieces, Abraham Rodriguez, Carissa Wiley, Zachary Ramirez, Gianni Gonzalez and Angelique Gonzalez; great nephew, Marshall Wiley. In spite of mental limitations, Evangelina always acknowledged there is a God and praised Him in song all the time. We were blessed and privileged to have such a heavenly soul walk among us and she will be deeply missed. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 2525 Palo Alto Rd., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park.
