Evelyn Frances Dent Callen

She was born November 18, 1927, in Harlingen, Texas, and was a resident of San Antonio.

She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church and Bible Study fellowship of San Antonio.

Evelyn attended Southwest Texas Teachers College and Texas A&M Kingsville. She was a teacher most of her life, teaching in La Feria, Harlingen, Alice and Victoria, Texas. After retiring, Evelyn continued to substitute teach at many San Antonio schools.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.O.C Dent; beloved husband, Dwight C. Callen; brothers, Alfred Dent Jr. and John Robert Dent.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Paula Jane Callen-George, Scott Coleman Callen, and Ginger Kaye Sefcik and husband, Jeff R.; grandchildren, Justin R. and Jarrett C. Sefcik; her brother, Paul Dent; numerous nieces and nephews.
