Febronio (Ed) Guzmán, age 78, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. Ed lived in San Antonio throughout his childhood attending Sacred Heart School before graduating from Central Catholic High School. After graduating from St. Mary’s University, Ed enlisted in the United States Air Force for four years and retired after 25 years in banking. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Guzmán; mother, Josefina Guzmán; brothers, Arthur Guzmán and Jesse Guzmán; nephew, Andrew Guzmán; and niece, Magdalena (Migy) Wolfe. Ed is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margaret E. Guzmán; son, Edward Guzmán (Gail); daughter, Felicia C. Guzmán, daughter, Maritza D. Borrer (David); nephew, Jesse Guzmán III, and niece, Jessica Guzmán. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Wednesday, June 23rd, at Porter Loring Mortuary. Donations in Ed’s memory can be made to American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) or San Antonio Humane Society.
