She loved being a homemaker and enjoyed hobbies, painting ceramics, gardening and crocheting.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alberto Acevedo, Sr.; son, Juan Jose Acevedo; and daughter, Mary Margaret Peters.
She is survived by her children: Ricardo Acevedo and wife, Janet; Rosalinda Cushman and husband, Steve; Reinaldo Acevedo and wife, Rose Marie; Alberto Acevedo, Jr. and wife, Rosalinda; Pedro Acevedo, Sr. and wife, Cynthia; Blanca Estela Vela; Joseph Acevedo, Sr. and wife, Rose; son-in-law, Col. (Ret). Robert L. Peters; brother, Pedro Rodriguez; sister, Connie Garcia; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a respected, caring and kind person, she will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2nd from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
