Felicita "Feliz” Garcia

Felicita M. Garcia, age 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family and all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Felicita was born on March 30, 1936, in Poteet, Texas. She lived a long and meaningful life, marked by kindness, resilience, and a deep care for others. She had a gentle spirit and a warm presence that brought comfort to everyone around her. Whether through her words, her actions, or simply the way she made others feel, she touched many lives in lasting ways.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Mendez and Reyes Rivera, as well as her beloved husband, Pablo A. Garcia.

She is survived by her loving children, Yolanda (Joe), Roland (Sharon), and Mark (Diane). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Nicole, Amanda, Brandon, Sarah, Mark Jr., Emily, Matthew, Jacob, Alexis, and Charles along with numerous great-grandchildren who will carry on her memory.

Felicita’s love for her family was the foundation of her life, and her legacy will live on through each of them. She will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218, on April 29, 2026, from 7:30 am to 8:00 am.
