

Florence Mary Helen Mosel, known throughout her life as Flo and Momo, was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 20, 1927 to Martha and Conrad Ehrler.She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 29, 2015 at the age of 87.
An Ursuline graduate, Florence worked for the Archdiocese before her marriage to Louis. In addition to raising seven children, Florence volunteered at Villa Rosa Hospital, and then at North Central Baptist Hospital for 22 years.
She enjoyed working at NIOSA, and was a member of the St. Matthew's Altar Society. Her many loves included dancing, playing bridge, shopping in Laredo, and spending time at the coast with her family and many friends.
Florence is preceded in death by her parents and brother, James, and will be greatly missed by her husband, Louis; daughters, Jamie Butler and husband, Rob, Deborah Kubecka and husband, Bob, Donna Specia and husband, Rudy, Laura Haby, Lisa Ruff and husband, Paul; sons, Erik, Kurt and wife, Jean; grandchildren, Kristin Lapuszynski and husband, Shawn, Jim Sweet, Leslie Adkins and husband, Sam, Russell Specia, Thomas Specia, Keri Mosel, Cody Haby, Tanner Haby; great grandsons, Jake, Josh, Jed and Jarod Lapuszynski, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the 5th Floor staff at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital, Gentiva Hospice, and the staff at The Village at Incarnate Word for their exceptional kindness and care.
