We remember you through hearing Mr. and Mrs. Kneupper speak of you so much. Our sympathy to you.

Having only known Floyd Westerman for a brief three years, I consider him not only a business assoicate, but a friend. He was one of the nicest and sincerest people I have ever known and he will be missed. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to his family and friends. May God bless you all with the peace that passes all understanding and may your every memory of this beautiful person bring you joy as you take comfort knowing he is at rest with his Lord and Savior.

I was reporter in Laredo covering government-schools when I first met and got to know Floyd. He had many friends in the Laredo scene. Friendly, helpful, gracious, a true gentleman, a real pro. I wrote about him many times. I cherished his friendship, his presence and graciousness. I admired him and his professional services to our city, the county, schools, college and business community. I share your grief from afar and your prayers for his eternal rest. I shall never forget Mr. Westerman. I read about his death in SA newspaper. I shall write a piece for my paper, Laredo Morning Times.

Although I haven't been living in SA for quite a while I have great memories of Floyd during my early years in the business when I was @ Russ and Co. He was always so friendly and kind to me. I'm was saddened to learn about Floyd's death. He was obviously a valued member of the Alamo Heights community, and certainly a cherished member of the Christ Lutheran family, and yours. Floyd was a decent, kind and honest man. My life is richer because I knew him and because I know his family. My heart aches for their loss. Today heaven is filled with the sounds of polka music and German laughter. I will miss you, Floyd.

I have such fond memories of my Uncle Floyd! He always had a smile for me. I thought it was so funny that he called all of us kids "mullet". He also made sure I had a brand new Almanac every year during my school years. Strange, the things we recall after a loved one passes. I always enjoyed being with the whole Westerman family at Canyon Lake and out at the Kneupper Farm in Cibolo. It was great being included in their big family! And some of the best bacon-wrapped dove breasts fixed and eaten right off the grill in the back yard at the house in Alamo Heights! Eventhough time goes by quickly and families grow apart, I will always remember Uncle Floyd as an integral part of my growing up years and a very special person in my life.

Dear Westerman Family: I was so saddened to learn of Floyd's death. He excelled in his profession and was such a great help to the Alamo Heights Independent School District when I served on the Board of Trustees. He was also a good friend to me. Floyd will certainly be missed in our community. I regret that I am unable to attend the service this afternoon, but my husband had successful eye surgery yesterday, and I need to take care of him. Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. May the love of your family and friends, your deep faith and your many happy memories comfort you at this sad time. I will miss Floyd Westerman greatly. His honesty, integrity and friendship assisted me through a re-financing process and two bond issues. I could always count on Floyd's sage advice and sound judgement. His passing leaves a void in my life.

May God bless Floyd as Floyd blessed all who knew him. His knowledge, his caring, and his friendly smile always made him welcome at Liberty Hill ISD. Floyd was a very good friend and very helpful to the Uvalde public schools, for many years.

Just one of many memories was how Floyd let my family rent his house on Alamo Heights Blvd, on short notice, month to month as we were in a bind and had sold our house The house we were to purchase turned out to have foundation problems. I did not know Floyd at that time but came to know him in the years that followed. I will not forget the kindness and understanding that he showed us.

I always admired Floyd's professionalism in my dealings with him at previous firms. My only regret is not having had a chance to work with him longer as a colleague. Floyd was a pioneer in the development of the public finance business in Texas. He will be missed by our industry and all of us at SAMCO.

Floyd was a wonderful man. I enjoyed working with him and getting to know the family. He introduced me to POETS and a cocktail at lunch on Friday. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Ruby.

Floyd & I worked together at M.E.Allison at the time Municipal Advisory Council was founded. Moved soon after and lost track of such a great human being. My condolences to the family and loved ones. Bettye

I had only known Mr. Westerman for 8 years but thought very highly of him. He was a very sweet man that will certainly be missed - business and personally. His friends at Columbia-Brazoria ISD send our condolences to Duane and Allen as well as the rest of their family.

As one of many who hold Floyd in very high esteem,we extend our sincere and deepest sympathy to his family. Floyd will be missed. We have all lost a friend and a helper.

Mr. Westerman was a role model for many in the Municipal Bond industry and he obviously succeeded as a father. The one son I know well, Duane, will certainly carry his legacy proudly.
