"GiGi" was the most beautiful woman I have ever met inside and out. I think she lived a life that most of us could only wish for. She had almost two lifetimes all rolled into one fulfilling one. The first was the role of wife and mother raising three wonderful children and the second was the one of pursuing the rest of her dreams aside from motherhood. In doing so she found out that she was a wonderful person and mentor to all of the generations that followed. I am so thankful that she was a part of all our lives, my childrens lives and my grandchildrens lives. None of us will ever forget her kindness, generosity and superior morals. She was definitely a "trailblazer" in life and I can only hope that all of us will keep all of those qualities alive everyday within us. She will truly never be forgotten! 
Be sweet as always GiGi and know that you are now Truly in the Kingdom of Heaven and GOD loves you.

Diann, Gail & Ann and family please except my condolences. Your grandmother/mom was inspiration to all of us growing up. Even to the one's that had only a brief time with her. what a beautiful lady she was. she lived a long and prosprous life she truly will be missed.

Francis Ashby aka GG, was a truly kind, thoughtful and sincere soul. She will be remembered that way. May she rest in peace.

I can't remember ever hearing a cross word from my grandmother.Some of my best memories are of waking up to the smell of bacon cooking when we would spend the night at her house.She will be missed by many that are left here behind,but take comfort in knowing that we will see her again.I love you grandma

I will always remember as a child going to "Grandma's house." It was always exciting to go to the "Country" to visit. It was a special place and we would get to see our cousins and light the "trash pile." Go to Frank's store for candy. I regret not having seen more of her over the years. I do cherish the family Christmas get together of 2008 and the times she and I went out to eat at "Jims." Grandma was there when my brother and I were born in her homes. Grandma has always had a special place in my heart. I know you do now, as you always have, walk in God's presence. Your Loving Grandson.
