Frances C. Ford

Frances Condlin Ford passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Frances was born on July 24, 1933, in Ogdensburg, NY as the daughter of Bernard G and Helen R Condlin. Frances married Willie Dow Ford Jr on July 4, 1954.

After high school, Frances pursued higher education by attending Business school and attained her Real Estate license during the 70’s. After retirement, she first moved to Florida and then settled in Texas. Frances was a stay at home Mom who loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed taking long walks on the beach searching for shark teeth. She enjoyed growing orchids, listening to country music, and followed multiple sports. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and fought it bravely.

Frances was preceded in death by her Husband Willie, her parents, her brother Edward O’Brien, and great granddaughters Caitlyn and Isabelle Lopez.

She is survived by her daughters Mary K Ford (David), Mount Veron IL and Linda M Grosse (Marty), San Antonio TX; Grandchildren Natalie Grosse Lopez (John), San Antonio TX & Jason E Ruffin (Gina,) Chicago Il ; Great granddaughter Sophia Lopez, San Antonio TX; Sister Patricia Condlin Middlebrook, Penn Yan NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Frances are pending under the direction of Sunset North Funeral Home 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX, 78232. Frances will be inurned alongside her husband at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington D.C.
