Francis T. West age 56 of San Antonio, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012. Frank was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 3, 1955. He met Chris Berns in 1978 and they were married in 1980. Frank received a right lung transplant in 2001. He and Chris moved to Fulton, TX in 2004, after 3 years they moved to San Antonio, TX.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin H. and Dolores L. West; brothers, Michael Alvin West, his deceased daughter Frqnces Anne West and Mark Louis West.
He is survived by his wife, Chris A. West of San Antonio; son, Jayson T. West and companion Stephanie Smith of Belleville, MI; grandson, Jayson T. West, Jr.; brothers, John J. West of Floresville, TX, and Paul C. West of Flat Rock, MI; father-in-law, Louis Arthur Berns of Idaho; sisters-in-law, Mary West of Floresville, TX, Constance Leach and husband, David of Monroe, MI, and Rebecca Winston and husband, Kevin of Idaho; brothers-in-law, Mark Berns and wife Shelley of Idaho, and Chad Berns and wife Rose of Virginia, including several nieces and nephews.
