Francisco "Pancho" Polendo

Francisco Polendo, de 62 años, de San Antonio, Texas, falleció el 21 de Septiembre de 2025. Francisco nació en Piedras Negras, México, hijo de los fallecidos Emilio y Herlinda Polendo. Fue un amado hijo, hermano, padre y abuelo. Su espíritu alegre tocaron a todos los que lo conocieron.

Le sobreviven sus hijos, Aníbal Polendo su esposa Desareye, y Laila Polendo su esposo Leobardo.

Fue un orgulloso abuelo de Haven, Nathaniel, Luciana y Leonela, quienes le brindaron una alegría y risas infinitas.

También le sobreviven sus hermanos Gloria, Emilio, Victor y Guadalupe, y le preceden en muerte sus hermanos Guillermina y Federico.

Conocido por su estilo de vestir y su amor por el baile, Francisco llenaba de luz y energía cada reunión. Sobre todo, fue un padre y abuelo devoto, el amor por su familia fue inquebrantable y profundo.

Su memoria vivirá para siempre en los corazones de su familia y amigos.

La velación de Francisco se llevará a cabo el domingo, 28 de septiembre de 2025, de 2:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. en Funeraria del Ángel Treviño, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211, con un Santo Rosario que se rezará a las 6:00 p.m.

Francisco “Pancho” Polendo, 62, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on September 21, 2025. Born in Piedras Negras, Mexico, to the late Emilio and Herlinda Polendo, Francisco was a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather whose joyful spirit touched everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Aníbal Polendo and his wife Desareye, and Laila Polendo and her husband Leobardo. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Haven, Nathaniel, Luciana, and Leonela, who brought him endless joy and laughter.

Francisco is also survived by his siblings Gloria, Emilio, Victor, and Guadalupe, and was preceded in death by his siblings Guillermina and Federico.

Known for his impeccable style and love of dancing, Francisco brought light, laughter, and energy to every gathering. Above all, he was a dedicated father and grandfather whose love for his family was unwavering and profound.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Ángel Treviño, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m.
