Frank Hanlon Castaneda, born on November 6, 1924 in San Antonio, Texas was called to be with the Lord on February 10, 2016 at the age of 91. He was a World War II U.S Army Veteran, proudly serving our country for 2 years. He was also a dedicated employee at Tobin Surveys Inc. for over 40 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Patricia Hanlon and sister, Tomasa Vela. He is survived by his wife, Mary O. Castaneda; children, Frank E. Castaneda, John E. Castaneda, Rebecca Milan, George Castaneda, Robert Castaneda, Patricia Adams and Michael Castaneda; step daughters, Mary Alice Alvarez and Gloria Guerra; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Lina Elizondo, Gloria Flores and Janie Castaneda. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2016 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
