Frank C. Sanchez died November 20th. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Elsie C. Sanchez; children: Albert Siller, Abraham, Kathy, Alfredo and John; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sisters: Chona Torres-Piloto and Anita Perez, uncles: Jesse Sanchez and Cipriano Garcia; aunt: Esther Martinez.
From 1951-1962, Frank served in the USAF, trained as a medic and also won several Golden Glove championship title fights. Later, he became a private duty nurse in the community, caring for various distinguished citizens for the last 40 years of his life.
The family invites all to join them in honoring Frank's life with a Prayer Service beginning at 3:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Chapel and visitation to follow.
On Monday, November 26th, a procession will depart at 9:15 A.M. from Porter Loring, 1101 McCullough for a Graveside Service at 10:00 A.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
