Frank Robert Traficante, age 80, of San Antonio, went home peacefully Friday, November 2, 2001. Mr. Traficante met his wife, Florence during the Korean War. He served during WWII, Korea and Vietnam, receiving numerous awards and citations for his valor, and received his Gold Shield permanently. Mr. Traficante medically retired after 31 years of active service. He was active in many civic events and his favorite song was "Guardian Angels". He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Ann Traficante, brother, Daniel Traficante and sister, Marlena Macy. Survivors: brother, Carmine Traficante; sister, Madeleine Traficante and Kay Traficante; children, Misty Anne Anderson, Frank Robert Traficante, Jr. and Rosina Susan Cespedes; grandchildren, Heather Anne, Lawrance, Perry Lynn, Rebekah, Christopher, Hannah and Alan.
