Franklin Dean Webster

Franklin Dean Webster, born July 10, 1926 on a small farm in Rose City, Michigan to Harold and Lucy (Meeker) Webster. After serving as Private First Class in the 937th Field Artillery Battalion in WWII from Nov 1944 to Aug 1946. After honorable discharge from the Army, he received a degree in civil engineering from Michigan State University. He married Betty Jane Fritz on January 20, 1951 and they had two children, Thomas Preston and Sara Lou.

Frank practiced civil engineering for more than 40 years, owning and running companies near Pontiac, Michigan and then Houston, Texas. He loved many sports including baseball, football, golf, basketball, and fishing. He loved to travel, taking dozens of trips both domestic and international, and many, many cruises. He had a special love for beaches, like in the Caribbean & Mexico. After Betty passed, he met Mary W. Rose and they married on June 23, 2018.

Frank passed away on March 6, 2021 at the age of 94. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Webster; son, Thomas Webster and by his daughter, Sara Isley. Franklin is survived by his spouse, Mary W. Rose; grandchildren, Scott Webster, Mathew Webster (Christine), Jennifer Krause (Wade), Emilia Murphy (Carlos), and by 12 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Emerald Oaks Retirement Resorts.
