He was born in San Antonio to Fred C. Chaney Jr. and Gloria Welch Chaney.
He lived in the San Antonio area most of his life. He attended Alamo Heights High School. He had several successful careers in music and audio-visual technology.
His greatest passion was hunting and fishing and spending time in the country with his family, which not only included relatives but wonderful friends that considered him a part of their family. Spending time at the coast and at sea always brought peace and tranquility into his heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fred Chaney Jr. and Gloria Chaney.
He is survived by his sisters, Cheryl Chaney Wilson and husband, Ricks Wilson Jr. and Deborah Chaney Hill; niece, Courtney Taylor Hill; nephew, Jason Mathew Binner and his wife, Wendy; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a cast of loving friends that are too many to mention.
He will be greatly missed by all.
