Fred served as an exceptional professor of psychology at Trinity University for over 34 years. He was promoted to Science Department Head three times but never stayed in that position. He preferred researching and teaching in the classroom over administration. Dr. F. J. Bremner received a number of research grants to study both human and animal psychological behavior. He loved to teach people to ride horses, handle their hunting dogs, and experience the outdoors. His love of riding horses spanned over 70 years.
Although the last 10 years he was unable to ride, he never lost his desire to ride or to work with horses. Fred touched the lives of so many people. His legacy will live on in each of those he touched. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. We can be comforted he is home in a place of refuge and a safe harbor in Heaven with God.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., First Presbyterian Church Guthrie Bryant Chapel.
