Gasper Luis Mendoza Jr. was called home to be with the Lord on May, 23, 2015 at the age of 73. He was a loving father, grandfather, husband, and brother, who was a very humorous person and loved to put a smile on everyone’s face. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Gasper and Rosa Mendoza, and 4 sisters: Estella Valdez, Gloria Carrizales, Antonia Garza, and Yolanda Mendoza.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amalia A. Mendoza, 2 loving sons: Gasper V. Mendoza III and wife, Lorena and James V. Mendoza, and wife, Cynthia; 2 sisters: RoseMary M. Pedraza and husband Lalo Sr., and Diana Soto, and 1 brother: Manuel Losoya; 5 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Visitation will begin on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd., with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. the same evening, followed by a 7:00 p.m. Chapel service. A cremation will take place at a later date. All services will conclude that same evening.
