Geneva Colwell King

She was preceded in death by her wonderful husband of 52 years, Bill D. King in 2001. She lovingly supported him the 45 years he was a Southern Baptist Christian Minister.

Geneva leaves two sons, Ross and Kyle and his fiance, Denise Knibbe; four grandchildren, Amanda, Zachary, Katie and Kaleb; her sister, Jerry Toland of Hobbs, NM; one nephew, Carl Toland and his wife Lynda of Portland, OR; and numerous second nieces and nephews.

Geneva was born and raised in Breckenridge, TX and has lived in San Antonio for 34 years, having moved there from Dallas in 1976. She was a faithful member of Shearer Hills Baptist Church for 34 years. During those years she made many close and wonderful friends and was involved in Bible study classes, the G.R.O.W. Committee and was a member of the Baptist Child and Family Services Auxiliary. She had many, many friends and loved them all.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 22nd at Shearer Hills Baptist Church.
