George F. Anaya

George F. Anaya, age 86, passed away April 28, 2022 in San Antonio, TX. He was born in Clovis, New Mexico on May 13th, 1935. He was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran and he was the president of the Navy Cruiser Association chapter here in San Antonio, which he was very passionate about. He was a loving father, grandfather, husband and friend who will be dearly missed.

Mr. Anaya was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Anaya.

He is survived by his two children, son, Patrick Anaya and daughter, Vanessa DelBosque; grandchildren, Ashleigh Anaya and Cody Anaya; son-in-law, Robert DelBosque; and daughter-in-law, Janet Peterson.

The visitation will be at 8 AM, Wednesday, May 18th 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with the Funeral Service to follow at 9 AM. The interment will continue at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with Navy Honors at 10 AM.
