MSgt George C. Cosbohn, USMC Ret, born December 3, 1924, in Platte County, Missouri, passed away at his home in San Antonio while in the arms of his loving wife, Shirley Ann Cosbohn "Puddin", on their 41st wedding anniversary, November 4, 2008.
As a proud career Marine, George served during WWII, The Korean, and Vietnam wars and was a lifelong patriot.
He was also an avid lifelong golfer who loved and intimidated those he played. He was admired and respected by all who knew him.
As a loving and devoted family man, George leaves behind his wife, Shirley; daughters, Linda and husband, Rob, Sandy and husband, Randy, and Karen; grandchildren, Rachel, Amber, Billy, Megan, Michelle, Allie and Cole; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Corbin; sisters, Betty, Mary and Wanda.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Coker United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 231 E North Loop Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78216.
