George L. Stout, age 100, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas with his family by his side. He was born March 19, 1920 to Myrtie Doud and Harry L. Stout in Walthill, Nebraska. First enlisting in the United States Army during WWII George went on to serve his country with the United States Air Force during both the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in 1969 after 31 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Angelita Olivencia Stout; son George Ralph Stout; and 6 siblings. George is survived by his son Wayne L. Stout and wife Sandra; grandchildren Joseph W. Stout and wife Lindsey, Elizabeth E. Stout, and Wayne L. Stout II and wife Virginia; great-grandchildren Leighton, Emery, Camila, and Elliott Stout; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
