George Lee Wilson

George attended Fox Tech high school. In January 1972, George joined the USAF. CMSGT Wilson retired from the USAF in July 1991. While stationed in Kamaitachi Japan, Noble Wilson became a mason, and he became a Shriner on October 25, 1980, through Nile Temple in Mount Terrace, Washington. On May 15, 1997, he joined Alzafar Temple in San Antonio.

In March of 2000, George purchased a dilapidated Model T. He restored the vehicle from the ground up. He was an active member of the T Fords of Texas and the Alzafar car club.

George was preceded in death by his wife, Judie Owens Wilson, his parents, George P., and Sarah E. Wilson and his older brother James F. Wilson. He is survived by his daughter Kathy Wilson, his grandkids Jason Sanchez, Casandra Eckhoff and Chelsea Eckhoff and his great grandson George Sanchez.

George will be remembered during the Alzafar Memorial Service on Sunday, November 16th, 2 to 4 pm at the Terrace room, Alzafar Shrine Temple 901 N Loop 1604 W, San Antonio, TX 78232. Afterwards, there will be food, refreshments and a slide show for George in the Directors Room.

The funeral service will be at Fort Sam Houston Monday, November 17th, at 11:30. The service will take place at Shelter 3. It will last approximately twenty minutes. There will be full military honors.
