He is survived by his brothers, Joe David Gonzales, Albert Silva, Richard Rodriguez, his sister, Patricia Santos; and his nieces and nephews, whom he adored, Adrianna Santos, Justin, Lauren and Marco Silva and Marisa Gonzales.
Jerry was and always will be an inspiration to those of us who were lucky enough to be touched by his kind and thoughtful ways.
We loved him dearly and he will be missed greatly, but we will never forget Jerry's big heart as he will live on in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th from 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Porter Loring with a service to begin at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel.
On Friday, procession will depart Porter Loring Chapel at 11:00 A.M. to graveside service at First Memorial Cemetery in Poteet, TX.
