San Antonio, TX - Gertrud (Trudy) Matilda Wulff, 93, died of natural causes in her home on March 9th, 2019 after a full life. She was born in Trier, Germany on October 31, 1925, the daughter of Johannos Alaxander and Anna Magdalena Katharina (Wegener) Dobrick.
Trudy grew up and lived in the Bavarian region of Germany, where she met the love of her life Clayton August Wulff in Giebelstadt. They were happily married for 22 years until his death on November 2, 1981. She never remarried and is survived by her daughters: Christa Welch of San Antonio TX, Sieglinda Kechter of Westminster CO, Ingrid Kischkel of Laguna Niguel CA, Micky Northrup of Ellijay GA, Jan Ray of Pflugerville TX, and her sons: Wolfgang Walter of Thielhim Germany, Fred Wulff and Richard Wulff of San Antonio TX. She had 17 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
A service of remembrance will be held on 14 March at the Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. There will be a public viewing at 3pm, followed by a rosary and prayer service at 4pm.
