Gladys Higgins Foerster, age 93, died peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, April 23, 2002. She will be remembered as a devoted Christian and a cheerful person who brought love and joy to all those whom she encountered. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. W. "Dolph" Foerster and daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Foerster. Suvivors include her daughter, Anne P. Foerster and her husband Jack Diamond, of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; son, Paul A. Foerster and his wife, Peggy McCaskill Foerster of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Matthew Marks and his wife, Paula Burch, Michael Marks and his wife, Caryl Morton, Laura Underwood Marks, Barbara Jill Clark and her husband, Bill Clark, David P. Foerster and his long-time friend Bill Fagan, Holly Kramaley and her husband, Nick Kramaley; step-grandchildren, Scott McCaskill and his wife, Heather Darden, and Cristin McCaskill; great grandchildren, Will and Peter Marks, Bryan and Regina Marks, Chris, Annie and Sam Clark; nieces and nephews including, Tambria Read, Robert Higgins and Pat Higgins; devoted helpers, Nicole Washington, Lillie Mathews and Jean Thompson.
