Gladys N. Johnson

Gladys was a long time resident of San Antonio and made many cherished relationships with co-workers at Scrivener's. She celebrated her 90th birthday in style, surrounded by her beloved family.

Gladys enjoyed traveling, especially to Japan. She loved reading and putting together puzzles and she also took pride in her collection of "Beanie Babies" and Japanese memorabilia. One of her greatest joys was the gathering of family and friends to enjoy football. She especially enjoyed the family football pots and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Burrow; son, Michael Burrow and 3 sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Hockman and husband, Jerry; sons, Bob Burrow and wife, Shelia, Dave Burrow, Wes Johnson and wife, Melanie; grandchildren, Dawn Cousino, Dana Frankland, Tanya Fey, Courtney Broussard, Megan Muniz, David Scott Burrow, Michelle Burrow, April Martinez, Chris Burrow, and Erin Burrow.

Gladys is also survived by one sister, Rhea Lamb of Effingham, Illinois.

Gladys' sweet personality and smile will be missed by many.

We will be celebrating her life on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Porter Loring North located at 2102 North Lop 1604 East.
