Gladys Bertetti Rose born February 14, 1919, in San Antonio, Texas, passed away Monday, April 1, 2002. Gladys graduated from Our Lady of the Lake High School in 1937 and obtained a B. A. in History in 1941 from Our Lady of the Lake University. She was a successful, independent business woman and a devoted mother to her only daughter, Paula Rose Black. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Adela Bertetti and her husband, Robert T. Rose. She is survived by her daughter, Paula Rose Black and husband, James Black III; four grandsons, James Black IV, Paul Black and wife, Barbara Canales-Black, John Black and wife, Lindsey Black, Robert Black and wife, Gabriella Black; six great-grandchildren, Caroline Black, David Black, Natalie Black, Daniel Black, Jacqueline Black and Colton Black.
