

On January 25th 2022, Gladys M. Wagner, 91, passed away peacefully at her home in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on August 28, 1930 in Sweet Home, Texas to Frank and Annie Fikac (both deceased) and later moved to San Antonio after graduating high school in 1947. On February 28, 1949, she married Charles F. Wagner (deceased) with whom she raised four children: Charles E. (deceased), Gregory, Mark and Christopher. Gladys was an active member of the San Antonio community having acquired the Donald L. Smith Company in 1977 along with her husband. She was an involved member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, having led its altar society for several years, the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre and the Alhambras. She is survived by her sons, Gregory, Mark (Linda) and Chris (Kathleen); granddaughters; grandsons; nieces; and nephews. Gladys was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed, but will always remain in the hearts of those who loved her. The family will receive friends at Porter Loring Mortuary North at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday February 23rd, 2022.

FUNERAL MASS of CELEBRATION will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church located at 8134 Blanco Road San Antonio, Texas on Thursday, February 24th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
