Glenda Ellen Rawlings

Glenda was born in Carnegie, Oklahoma to Milton and Gwendolin Hudgins on September 30, 1948. She attended school in Apache, Oklahoma. Upon marrying Mark Rawlings on October 26, 1984, in Wichita Falls, Texas, she moved to Waco, Texas where she worked in Financial Aid at Texas State Technical Institute for many years, then later at Waco-DPS and McLennan County Sheriff’s Department. She enjoyed early retirement and living on the “Shoestring Ranch” in Gholson, Texas, where she enjoyed arrowhead hunting and deer hunting with her husband.

Glenda is preceded in death by her parents; husband Mark Rawlings, brother - Jim Hudgins and infant son Jimmy Lee Jackson Jr.

Glenda is survived by son – Billy Jarvis of Marion, TX, daughter - Yvette Steffen (Carl) of Marion, TX. Sister Judy Bentley (Lawrence) of Comanche, Oklahoma, brother, Roger Hudgins (Lila) of Bartlesville, OK. Grandchildren – Mitchel Steffen (Lyndsey) of Seguin, TX. Zackry Steffen (Johnathan Bowen) of Lytle, TX. Trent Steffen of Marion, Texas, Stephanie Jarvis of Carrollton, TX, Savanna Jarvis of Penelope, TX and Coy Jarvis of Marion, TX. Great grandchildren, Nikko Steffen and Ezra Steffen and her furry companion Hayley.

Graveside services will be scheduled later at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery, 11463 S Fort Hood St, Killeen, TX 76542.
