

Glenn Puckett, age 65, passed away September 24, 2006, in San Antonio, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born October 7, 1940, in Ennis, Texas, and went on to earn his Bachelor and Master degrees from East Texas State University.
He retired as Vice-President of Compensation from USAA, served on the Witte Museum Board, was an Advisor at Business Careers High School, and served as a mentor in the SAISD.
In retirement he pursued his love of art at the Southwest School of Art & Craft. Glenn, an avid reader, talented artist and musician, was admired by everyone and was known for his wit, gift of laughter and zest for life. A beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, he reminded us always of the true meaning of family. His most precious gifts to each of us were his unconditional love, encouragement and support.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Estelle Puckett. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Nancy; daughter, Courtenay Puckett, who was his special angel; brothers, Randall and wife, Joyce, Max and wife, Patti, David and wife, Sandra; sister-in-law, Susan Woods and husband, Jon; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Steven P. Kalter, the nurses and staff at CTRC, and the nursing staff on the 8th floor at Methodist Hospital for all their wonderful care.
