Gloria Gomez

Maria Isabel Gloria Gomez, age 94, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022. She was born on May 5, 1928 in Laredo, Texas, to parents, Francisco and Ramoncita Salinas Santos. Alongside her husband, Ramon, they owned and operated Gomez Cabinets, where their company had a reputation of mastering quality custom cabinetry. Gloria was a devoted Catholic and believed in giving back to help the church and other organizations. She will be remembered as a good and faithful servant to God.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Ramon Gomez, her brothers Santiago Santos, Francisco Santos and sister Maria Luisa Santos.

Gloria is survived by her sisters, Graciela Olivo and Emma Mejia; stepchildren, Veronica Meade, Hector Gomez and his wife Anna, and Hugo Gomez; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
