Gloria M. Gonzalez

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mario Medina Reyes & Esperanza Valdez; beloved husband, Francisco Gonzalez and siblings, San Juana Medina and Juan De Dios Medina.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Gloria Esperanza Alvarado (Oscar Sr.); grandchildren, Gloria Linda "Nina" Alvarado (Eric) and Oscar Alvarado Jr. (Vanessa); great grandchildren, Ethan Gamez and Liam Gamez and siblings; Miguel Medina, Esperanza Rojas, Dora Medina, Patricio Medina, Luisa Medina, Magdalena Medina and Mario Medina Jr.

A true lover of all things creative, Gloria loved the joy of crafting, especially anything with butterflies. She also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors/camping.

She was most proud of being a Child Care Development Director. She loved nurturing the children and loving them as her own.

A visitation for Gloria will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 PM. A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 10:00 AM, at Trevino Funeral Home with interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
