Gonzalo Ozuna Diaz Jr.

Gonzalo O. “Pino” Diaz Jr., loving father & grandfather passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025. He is joined into eternal rest with his beloved wife, Olga, and sons Gonzalo “Pine” Diaz III and David Agundez (Susan). He was born on September 12, 1935, in San Antonio, TX to Gonzalo and Josefina Diaz. Pino is survived by his children, Nicholis “Allen” Diaz, Diana Scott (Bill), Steven Diaz (Lynne), Paul Diaz (Trish) & Rebecca Morehead (Curtis). Pino is survived by 28 grandchildren.

Pino served honorably in the U.S.A.F. and with the Air Force & Air Force Reserves. While stationed at Norton A.F.B. in San Bernardino, CA, Pino met the love of his life, Olga in San Bernardino, California and they married in 1958. They had 7 children. Pino worked at Kelly A.F.B. for 38 years as a Logistics Analyst. Pino enjoyed golfing, Spurs and Cowboy games with his kids and grandkids and loved working on his crossword puzzles.

Pino and Olga’s greatest joy was their grandchildren & great-grandchildren. He always had a smile for his grandkids, attending all their birthdays and graduations.

Memorial Service will be at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX on January 14, 2026 beginning at 8:30 am, Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church, 3231 El Paso Street, with Inurnment at San Fernando Cemetery #2 at approximately 11:15. Reception will be held at the San Juan De Los Lagos Church Community Center afterwards.
