Gonzalo Martinez Jr.

Gonzalo Martinez Jr. entered fully into the presence of the Lord Sunday, March 26, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family. Gonzalo was born May 25, 1945 to Gonzalo Martinez Sr. and Sabas O. Martinez in Jourdanton, Texas.

Gonzalo Martinez was the life of the party and a man of all trades. Having been one of the top producer managers for 45 years, the father of 3 was also a businessman, a biker, and DJ Blingleaders' number 1 fan and favorite roadie. Along with the pride he held for his accomplishments over the years, Gonzalo enjoyed spending time at the center socializing with friends and playing pool. He also loved spending time at his ranch barbequing with family and friends. As a cowboy and rancher, Gonzalo loved the countryside and beautiful horses.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Rosemarie Martinez, and his children Cindi Segura & Barney Segura, Rose Ann Martinez, Jose Segura, Jose Luis Martinez. Grandchildren Amber & Daniel Cortez, Joshua Segura, Cheyenne Martinez, Corina Martinez, Kaleb Martinez, and two Great Grandchildren Aiden Gonzales and Mila Rose Cortez. Siblings Estella Loredo, Margie Carrizales, Frances Corrales, Bella Enriquez, Marcello Martinez, Rudolfo Martinez, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 6:00 pm at the Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto rd., San Antonio TX 78211. Celebration of life will be Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 10:00 am at Mercy Church with interment to follow at First Memorial Park.
