Gordon Cuthbertson Comstock passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the age of 87. Born in Keene, NH, graduating from Plymouth State Teachers College, he always remained proud of his New England roots.
Gordon enjoyed a long and productive career in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Chief Master Sargent. After retiring, he and his wife, Janet, traveled extensively by RV and air, touring 4 continents and 49 states. These travels were their joy, both in the doing and the remembering.
Gordon was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Janet, and son, Douglas. He is survived by brother, Richard and wife Florence; sister Beverly Garcia and husband Pedro; daughter Linda Leist and husband Glenn; daughter Diane Grounds and husband James; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The graveside service and interment will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 10:45 AM at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
