Grace Elisabeth Deaton, 28, passed away on June 14, 2016. She was born in Landstuhl, Germany on April 15, 1988, to Lance and Janet Miller; while they were stationed overseas. Grace graduated from Health Careers High School in San Antonio, Texas, in 2006, and earned her Associates Degree from Hallmark University. Grace worked as a Certified Medical Assistant at UTHSC and a Phlebotomist at the South Texas Blood Bank. Grace was know for her upbeat spirit and willingness to assist all those in need. Grace was nicknamed Skittles because of her colorful personality. Grace loved to read and spend time with her small family. She will be forever missed by her family and friends. Grace is survived by her husband Shaun Deaton; daughter, Emily Rose Deaton of San Antonio, TX; her parents, Lance and Janet Miller, of Junction City, KS; sister, Tabitha Miller, and nephew Jack Miller of LaVernia, TX. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 25th, 2016, at Grace Baptist Temple on 4398 Bluemel Road in San Antonio, Texas.
