
She was a descendant of Spanish colonial pioneers who settled the Monterrey and Saltillo area of Northern Mexico. She was born Graciela de Jesús de León on June 11, 1918 in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico to Aurelio de León and Josefa Rendón.
She was preceded in death by her husband José G. Lozano, her brother, Gilberto de León, and her grandson Scott Brent Grau.
She is survived by her three children, Joe J. Olga Lozano, Yolanda Robert Grau, and Mary Helen George Farias; her 10 grandchildren, Catherine S. Larson, Christine M. Sandys, James J. Lozano, Steven B. Grau, George Farias, Jr., Michael A. Farias, Diane E. Farias, Cynthia G. Bryant, Thomas C. Farias, Richard H. Farias; her five step grandchildren, Kevin, Cassandra, Priscilla, Heidi, Karen and her daughter, Jasmine; and her 11 great grandchildren, Mara, Kira, Spencer, Skyler, Cameron, Kendall, Sara, Lauren, Taylor, Frieda and Thomas.
Graciela had a long and fruitful life. She was a strong, caring and loving person who instilled good values in her children and family. She enjoyed cooking for her family and was an expert in authentic Mexican cuisine. She has left a deep void in the hearts of her loved ones.
She will be missed by her family who rejoice that she has entered at last The Kingdom of God for her eternal rest and reward.
