Graziella Arredondo, age 57, went to be with the Lord on November 28, 2022. Born in Fort Hood, TX, San Antonio was her home since childhood. She is fondly remembered for the brilliant sparkle in her eyes, the love she put into preparing delicious meals for her loved ones, and for instantly befriending even the most cantankerous pet, instinctively knowing how to connect with them playfully. She was a sister to her cousins, lending a sympathetic ear to share the weight of caring for their ailing father. She never failed to offer a complementary word when greeting friends and was dedicated and considered irreplaceable at work while being well-loved by her co-workers. She was a fan of foreign films, and known for having a heart of gold, and described as “sweetness and goodness in human form”.
Graziella is survived by her loving parents, Graciela and Dr. Eradio Arredondo; siblings, Eduardo and wife Diane, and Alberto and wife Emma; dearest cousins, Yvette Ortega and husband, Mike, Monique Villarreal and husband, Joel, and Mirella Sanchez; her adored aunt and uncle, Moni and Rodrigo Palacio; and many more loving Arredondo family members across the United States and Mexico, as well as numerous cherished friends. Graziella proudly worked for Southwest Research Institute as a Senior Administrative Coordinator for over 30 years, making a mark in both the Accounting and Risk Management organizations.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church.
