Guadalupe P. Armendariz

Guadalupe P. Armendariz passed away May 19, 2016 at the age of 76. Her beloved husband Dr. Juan Armendariz preceded her in death. A native of El Paso, Texas, Guadalupe spent the majority of her life in San Antonio, graduating from Our Lady of the Lake University and working for over 30 years as a Social Worker with Easter Seals of San Antonio; supporting those with traumatic brain injuries. Guadalupe lived life with a compassionate heart, kindness, humility, patience and an unwavering faith in God. Guadalupe P. Armendariz is survived by daughter, Rosemary Penhollow, son-in-law Matthew; son John Armendariz and daughter-in-law Roxana, son Joseph Armendariz and daughter-in-law Julie, grandchildren, Brittany, Aidan, Mateo, Diego and Jasmine; Cousin Adriana Geiger, and other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7: 00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, Texas. Funeral Services will be held, Friday, May 27, 2016 at 9:00 AM at St. Ann’s Church, 210 St. Ann’s St., San Antonio, Texas. Interment will be held at the Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio.
