With deep love and sorrow, the family of Guadalupe Campos Guerra announces her passing on September 25, 2025, at the age of 76. Guadalupe was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose warmth and creativity touched all who knew her.
Born on January 22, 1949, Guadalupe lived a life rich in love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family. She found joy in the simple and beautiful moments, walking along the beach, casting a fishing line, or getting lost in the eerie thrill of a good horror movie. Her hands were rarely still; always creating, whether through drawing, crafts, or tending to the family garden.
Guadalupe’s kitchen was the heart of the home. Her cooking nourished more than just the body, it was her way of showing love. Family meals were sacred, filled with stories, laughter, and the comforting sense that everyone belonged.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Catarina Salazar; her brothers, Luis Salazar, Francisco Campos, and Magdaleno Campos; her sister, Catarina Vallejo; and her beloved son, Ricardo Guerra, whose memory she carried in her heart every day.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Ricardo G. Guerra, and their children: Irene Guerra (Juan Carlos Salazar), Sabrina DeLeon (Joel DeLeon), Lupe Guerra (Christina Ramirez), Savannah Guerra, and Tyler Guerra. Guadalupe’s legacy lives on in her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored, as well as her extended family and friends.
Guadalupe’s spirit was one of strength, kindness, and creativity. She gave selflessly, loved deeply, and left behind a lifetime of beautiful memories. Though her physical presence will be missed beyond words, her love and light will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
