Born in San Francisco on July 7, 1950, he lived in Mill Valley California in the house that his father and uncle built. He enlisted in the Air Force and served both domestic and overseas during the Vietnam conflict. Gunnar had an Associate’s degree in both Art and History. He was both a talented sculptor and an illustrator, working for various clients until he finally retired. Gunnar met Julia (AKA Julie) Lindfors née Boucher in July of 1982. They were married one year later. Gunnar is survived by his wife of 39 years Julie(a) Lindfors née Boucher, his 2 sons Erik Lindfors, Gunnar Lindfors III, & his wife Angela Lindfors née Garcia, and their children Gunnar Lindfors IV, James Lindfors, Rosemary Lindfors and Miles Lindfors.
