Hannah Rose Torres, 29, of San Antonio, TX passed away unexpectedly on February 16th, 2026. Born August 5th, 1996, in Battle Creek, MI to Edward Charles Roberts and Teresa Kay Roberts, Hannah was a brilliant, gorgeous, and joyful person.
Hannah brought light and happiness to everyone who knew her. Or as Hannah would put it, she was yellow. To Hannah yellow was more than just a color, it was happiness, joy, light, and cheerfulness. Being in yellow was like being wrapped in the warmth of the sun. And that’s exactly what Hannah was too: a warm light. Hannah was a loving wife and mother, a daughter, a sister, and a best friend. She was so much to so many. She was yellow to so many. And now she will live on in yellow. In the rays of the sun, the petals of flowers and the blinking of lightning bugs, they will all be our Hannah.
Hannah is survived by her husband, James I. Torres; her daughter, Theodora Rose; her father, Edward; her sister, Emily; and her brothers Zakk, Alex, and Sam. She was preceded in death by her mother, Teresa Roberts.
A visitation will be held for Hannah on March 9, 2026, at 6:00 pm at Porter Loring North. And a funeral service will be held March 10, 2026, at 10:00 am at Porter Loring North, 2102 North Loop 1604 East San Antonio, Texas 78232.
To honor Hannah’s love of yellow we ask that everyone wear some yellow, whether it’s just a pop or a full outfit.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to the San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition or to the GoFundMe set up for her daughter.
