

Hatsuko Endo Bugenhagen, age 82 passed away May 12, 2012. She was born on January 20, 1930 in Koriyama, Japan. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Hatsuko had a great sense of humor. She was very giving, intelligent, strong, and a beautiful woman inside and out. She graduated from a seamstress sewing school after high school in her home town of Joban, Japan. She was a master seamstress and sewed all her own clothes and many of her son’s and husband’s; as well as sewing for many customers. She loved to cook and garden. She was the rock of her family and will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Sergeant Major David L. Bugenhagen (Ret); son, Bobby L. Bugenhagen, his wife Debora; and grandchildren Nicholas and Hailee.
Visitation will be 2pm, Thursday, May 17, 2012 Sunset Funeral Home with the Funeral Service to follow at 3 pm. After the Funeral, there will be a reception at Sunset Funeral Home. A private interment will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Friday, May 18, 2012. In lieu of flowers, Hatsuko would like donations sent to The Wounded Warriors Project.
She had a good life all the way!!!!!!
