The San Antonio native was married to George H. Morris in 1945, and made homes for him and their four children in eight different states, one U.S. Territory, Panama and Japan.
Evelynn's love for travel and adventurous character stayed with her throughout her life.
A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, she instilled a love for education in her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister, Marjorie Hugo, San Antonio; daughters, Judith Claremon, Nogales, AZ; Catherine O'Donnell, San Antonio; sons, George "Bud" Morris, San Marcos, California, Jay Morris, Port Aransas, Texas, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
