He loved family, Sunday BBQ’s at his home, the Cowboys and the Spurs. Sundays were his favorite day. His family would gather together to eat, drink and enjoy each other’s company. The guys would grill outside come rain or shine and a game would be on the TV in the living room where Hector would sit in "his spot" to watch. The family would laugh together at the stories retold by Hector Jr. of his past. He loved to spoil his only granddaughter with toys or sweets every time she visited him.
