Hector was born in San Antonio, Texas to Claudia Vargas on October 16, 2007. He attended school at Dillard McCollum High School.
Hector is preceded in death by Jose Vargas, Maria Sepulveda, and Omar Rubio Fallathe.
Hector is survived his mother Claudia Vargas and siblings Omar Rubio, Bianca Rubio, Claudia Rubio, Joe Michael Rubio and Ashley Olvera.
Pallbearers will be Hector Vargas, Jesse Jimenez, Osvaldo Lopez, Tony Vargas, Michael Vargas, Alex Moctezuma, Suriel Moctezuma, and Benjamin Reveles.
A visitation for Hector will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 7:00 PM, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 11:30 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church, 130 S San Augustine Ave, San Antonio, TX 78237. A committal service will follow on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 1:15 PM at San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214.
