

She graduated from high school in the Panama Canal Zone, where she also met and married her husband, Edward B. Alexander. They moved to San Antonio where they started their plumbing company, Alexander's Roto-Rooter. After his death, she owned and operated the company for over 50 years. She was a long time member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Edward B. Alexander; her parents; and her sisters, Nora Green and Margaret Sapp.
She is survived by her daughters, Sallie Anz and husband Ronald, and Margaret Wells and husband Pete; grandchildren, Sabreh Howell and husband Tim, Rhonda Vanderburg and husband Troy, Nathan Anz and wife Heather, Kristin Sines and husband Steve, Stevie Wells, and Caitlin Wells; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Edna Ogletree.
The family would like to express their love and appreciation to her loving caregiver, Laura Flores Licerio, who became like a family member. The family is deeply appreciative to the Optum Hospice for the loving care they gave our Mom which we could not have done without their help.
