Helen W. Branagan entered into eternal rest on October 13, 2015 at the age of 82 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born to Roderick and Agnes McKenzie on September 4, 1933 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Helen enjoyed quilting with friends and traveled the world into her 80’s. Helen is survived by her three children; Karen and husband Jeffrey Nanos, John and wife Laureen Branagan, and Christopher and wife Joy Branagan, grandson Jason and wife Victoria Nanos, great granddaughters Caroline and Jacqueline Nanos, close friend Paul Menzies, sisters Rhoda Lynch and May McCormick as well as many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
